Jo Averill-Snell is a lighting designer and director, based in the Berkshires, Massachusetts. Audiences may have seen her lighting designs at Bridge Street Theatre in Catskill, NY, or for Jobsite Theater or the Straz-produced musicals series at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, FL. She has also recently designed for Stageworks Theatre, Tampa Repertory Theatre, ThinkTank Theatre for Young Audiences, freeFall in St. Petersburg, Urbanite Theatre in Sarasota, and others. She has directed for Tampa Rep and Improbable Athenaeum. She studied English Literature and Theatre Design at the University of South Florida.
