Jo Averill-Snell is a lighting designer and director, based in Tampa, FL. Audiences have seen her lighting designs for Jobsite Theater or for the Straz-Produced musical series at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts. She has also recently designed for Stageworks Theatre, Tampa Repertory Theatre, ThinkTank Theatre for Young Audiences, freeFall in St. Petersburg, Urbanite Theatre in Sarasota, and others. She has directed for Tampa Rep and Improbable Athenaeum. She studied English Literature and Theatre Design at the University of South Florida.
